Get ready for the new Mortal Kombat 12 game

You’ve heard correctly! Fans of the long-running Mortal Kombat gaming franchise got some excellent news today. — Wario64 (@Wario64) February 23, 2023 Note that during the quarterly investor call for Warner Bros Discovery, the media giant announced that not only is Mortal Kombat 12 in the works, but it’s due to be released sometime in 2023. Please keep in mind that details about the game were not revealed but the company’s executive vice president Andrew Slabin did state that it had ambitious launch projections for Mortal Kombat 12. These big plans also extend to another highly-expected upcoming game, Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League, which is due on May 26. NetherRealm Studios, which is the primary developer for the Mortal Kombat game series, has yet to comment on this reveal. As we’re sure you know, the last game in the series, Mortal Kombat 11, was launched in the spring of 2019, followed by a number of paid and free DLC content that continued to be launched through the end of 2020. Many are now curious about what goodies we are going to get for Mortal Kombat 12, since the previous title brought beloved characters such as Spawn, Rambo, Robocop, and The Joker. There isn’t a lot to go on about what Mortal Kombat 12 is concerned, so we’re just going to have to wait and see what the near future has in store. That being said, if you are a Mortal Kombat fan, put some money aside for the game and the first DLC that will become available soon after launch. Just know that Mortal Kombat 12 will launch in the same year as Street Fighter 6, and potentially the same window as Tekken 8, making 2023-24 an exciting time for fighting game fans.
