It didn’t feature during EA Play Live last July, though the company did say that the team “didn’t want to rush a demo” and would only share more information when the time was right. But it seems that the developer is making some good progress with the upcoming sequel. The news comes from a recent report that claims that things are going well for the project. That said, Dragon Age 4 has had its own issues, with a variety of delays since it was first announced.  It’s now believed to be releasing soon on both current and next-gen platforms, which would make sense given that the developer said recently that it needs a little more time with the game. There are new insights about Dragon Age 4’s development in the latest podcast. According to the podcast, work on the game is now sufficiently advanced that it may even be released earlier than expected.

At The Gamer, its story also notes that the potential release window aligns with what we’ve heard from other reports concerning the project.  There’s a lot to take in there. For one thing, it would seem that Dragon Age 4 is finally in good shape and on track for a release window.  It would also appear that Dragon Age 4 is going to be a cross-gen game, which means it’s going to be releasing on Xbox Series X/S and PS5 as well as Xbox One and PS4. It’ll likely make the jump to PC too, given the popularity of the franchise on PC. It’s not that we don’t know anything about Dragon Age 4; it’s just that the only reports we’ve seen so far are rumor-based. There are, however, plans to drop multiplayer. We don’t have many details on Dragon Age 4 at this point, but we’re looking forward to seeing more. We will keep you posted about any official new information about EA Play Live.
